Rachael Cisto of Oxford, a senior at Sacred Heart Academy in Hamden, received several post season honors following the fall 2011 volleyball season.  Rachael, who was captain of her team, led the team with 223 kills and has been the team leader for blocks for the past three years.

Rachael was selected to the 2011 Class M All-State Girls Volleyball Second Team and was honored with other recipients at a banquet at the Aquaturf in Southington in December.

In addition to All-State honors, Rachael was selected to the New Haven Register All-Area team and the Southern Connecticut Conference (SCC) All Division Team (Quinnipiac).

Rachael has been a member of the SCC All-Academic team for the past 3 years and this year became a member of the SCC All-Star Academic Team.  Rachael was also selected to be a SCC Scholar-Athlete of the Month (November 2011). Rachael is the daughter of Rich and Laurie Cisto of Oxford.
