Oxford Dems Endorse Murphy for Senate

The Oxford Democratic Town Committee recently endorsed Rep. Chris Murphy, D-5th District, for Senate. The following is the endorsement:

Whereas the Oxford Democratic Town Committee is respectful of all Democratic candidates seeking the Senate seat to be vacated by Senator Joseph Lieberman

And Whereas Congressman Chris Murphy has presented a forward thinking platform for the State of Connecticut

And Whereas Congressman Chris Murphy has represented the Fifth Congressional District with knowledge of that district while listening to residents beyond his district

And Whereas Congressman Chris Murphy has received endorsements from his fellow Congressional representative of Connecticut
