Oxford Doll Maker Back With GOP Political Figures

Emil Vicale from Herobuilders has Romney, Santorum and Gingrich dolls.

The polls say Mitt Romney is in a relatively close race to the top of the national GOP ticket with Rick Santorum. But if you ask Oxford doll maker Emil Vicale who is winning, he will tell you Romney is running away with the race quickly.

OK. So Vicale's definition of race is slightly different: he’s talking about the race for sales of his GOP presidential candidate action figures, which went on the market on Feb. 27 on Vicale's website, Herobuilders.com.

So far, the Romney figure outsells the Santorum doll 4-to-1, according to an email from Vicale. A doll of Newt Gingrich’s likeness had not been purchased by any customer as of Sunday evening, Vicale said.
