The Village at Oxford Greens Gives $6,200 in Scholarships

Awards given to four Oxford High School seniors.

The following news release was submitted by The Village at Oxford Greens scholarship committee:

At the Senior Awards Night at, Scholarship Committee awarded four scholarships to Oxford High School Seniors who will be attending college this coming fall. The scholarship awards came from donations given by residents at the The Village at Oxford Greens.

The scholarship committee based the scholarship awards on a student’s academic performance, school and community activities and on an essay written by the student on "what was their most memorable experience in high school." The committee members individually reviewed all the applications and made their individual choices. The scholarship committee decided on the award recipient, the number of scholarships and the amount each individual will received.
