No New Ambulance for Oxford Seniors

What do Temple and Haney have against Oxford seniors?  For the past 2 years, they have refused to approve the purchase of a new ambulance for the town.  The ambulance calls are up and now average 3 calls per day, mostly due to the senior population in the over 55 communities that pay over $4 million per year in Oxford taxes.  They refuse to answer the pleas of the ambulance director for a new ambulance
The Temple-Haney team and the Board of Finance have approved the spending of approx $700,000 above the already 6% increase in this year's budget (12% if you add in the Bd of Ed), but nothing for a new ambulance.  Even the dogs are getting better treatment with $50,000 for a new animal shelter.  Temple thinks giving seniors free hotdogs at the Senior Center to buy their votes is better than an ambulance.  It's certainly cheaper.
We can change this on November 5.  Oxford needs a new First Selectman and Board of Finance.
