Oxford Swim Team competes at USA Regionals!

USA swimming members of the Oxford Swim Team competed at the Connecticut Swimming Long Course Regional Championships held at the Brookfield YMCA & Wesleyan University in Middletown July 21^st & July 22^nd. Competitors were:

12 and under

Emily Darroch, Madeline Kovach, Casey Marshall, Juliana Vigliotti

13 & over

Alex Capela, Ellie Gamauf, Charlotte Gray, Veronica Jelenick, Dan Knepple, Raquel Kopeck, Jake Marshall, Zach Pranger, Megan Vitka, Emily Waehler & Jessica Yetmen

Coaches John Hiteshew and Brendan Burgess were both extremely proud of all the swimmers’ performances, with many of them turning in personal best times in their events! The swimmers efforts broke 18 of the current team records!

Dan Knepple swam fast enough to make the Connecticut Swimming Age Group Championship meet this coming weekend! Good luck, Dan! Swim fast!!

Politicians and or Anti-Americans only believe that the constitutions are a dead document. They are excuses to put forth an agenda. Without Constitutions this country would be chaos and we wouldn't have the freedoms we have today. Only in your eye's does the words not apply because you think government can prevent and do anything they want. It's the people that rule, NOT THE POLITICIANS!

That is looking at the Constitution as a dead piece of paper instead of a living document. Living…Read More Constitutions read as if they were written yesterday not over 250 years ago. Is the Constitution living or dead. When common sense and ordinary circumstances show that the words of the Constitution no longer apply then the document is dead. That is what occurs when weapons/arms have become so powerful and dangerous that having them available in the numbers you have in this country is tantamount to ultimate murder and chaos. This is definitely not what the Framers had in mind as shown by the words prefacing the 2nd amendment referring to a militia.
