Oxford GS Troop cleans up GS bridge!

Oxford Girl Scout Senior Troop 60148 brought their shovels, rakes and gloves to the Oxford Town Hall today and cleaned up the grounds around the Girl Scout bridge by Kirk's pond!
The bridge was constructed in 2003 by a local girl scout as part of her earning her Girl Scout Gold Award.  Over the years, it's been used by many troops in town for their bridging ceremonies.
The girls from Troop 60148 decided it was time to get rid of the weeds, prune the foliage, plant some beautiful mums and put down mulch to make it look as it should!
Troop leaders Ann Gamauf and Suzanne Palys could not be more proud of their girls - they worked hard and accomplished their goal!
