Norwalk – Steve Obsitnik, candidate for US Congress in Connecticut's 4th District, is proud to announce the Veterans for Obsitnik coalition.
Veterans for Obsitnik is led by former Congressional Candidate and Honorary Chairman Dick Wieland, and co-Chairs State Rep. Dan Carter, State Rep. John Hetherington, Norwalk City Councilman Dave McCarthy, Former Congressional Candidate David Orner, Oxford First Selectman George Temple, Western CT Military Officer's Association member Susan Monks, and Port 5 Naval Veterans Commander Rich Iannucci.

Veterans for Obsitnik is a grassroots coalition comprised of veterans and military families who support Steve Obsitnik in his bid for the US Congress.
Steve Obsitnik graduated from the United States Naval Academy after being nominated by former Congressman Stewart McKinney (CT-4). Obsitnik also served as a nuclear engineer aboard the U.S.S. Ray, a fast attack nuclear submarine. He was awarded eight medals during deployments to the Arctic Circle, Atlantic and Mediterranean.
He also served in Submarine Squadron Six in Charleston, SC, the Pentagon with the Bureau of Naval Personnel and Naval Submarine Base New London, CT.
