GE Power Plant

I am hearing through the grape vine that GE is gearing up to continue plans to build a natural gas power plant on land that was puchased from Oxford some 15 or so years ago. I was never in favor of this use of Oxford land and still hold the same position. During the last Democratic administration we gave GE at tax break. WHY? We were told it was GOOD BUSINESS.
