Lions Wine Beer and Food Fest

The Oxford Lions recently held their first annual Wine, Beer and Food Fest at the Lions Pavilion in Jackson Cove Park.  The event was sponsored by Oxford Paint and Hardware and the Oxford Liquor Shoppe with decorations contributed by Ace Begonias.  Several local restaurants provided food samples and attendees selected their favorites.  The winners were, Fritz’s Snack Bar for best appetizer, Nardelli’s Grinder Shoppe for best sandwich, Rose’s Family Restaurant for best pizza, 121 Restaurant for best main course and Rich Farm Ice Cream for best dessert.  The proceeds of this event will be used to fund additional improvements at Jackson Cove Park.
