April 29 the OHS Unified Sports Team was named the 2013-2014 Michael Savage #1 Unified Sports Program in CT in only the school's 2nd year having a program. There are over 90 programs in CT. Last year the team was awarded the Ann Malafronte Rookie School Award.
The Michael's Cup Award Ceremony was held at the Aqua Turf. Seniors, Tommy Baker and Colin Shirling were named the OHS Outstanding Partner and Athlete at the banquet. The coaches; Head Coach Jen LaCapra and Assistant Coaches, Kim Behr and Alicia Salvatore are beyond proud of their kids and school community for embracing Unified Sports at OHS.
