The Oxford Boy Scouts Troop 1 is selling fresh-cut Christmas trees every weekend in December. These real Christmas trees are beautiful, full branches and great pine smell! The sale is in the parking lot of Fritz's Snack Bar on Rte 67 by the Seymour town line.
The annual Boy Scouts Christmas Tree Sale is a fund-raiser that supports their many activities in the coming year. Oxford Paint & Hardware donated the lumber the scouts used to build the stands holding all the trees. Fritz's Snack Bar donates use of the parking lot space every year.
The scouts are on hand to help you select the right tree, cut an inch off the bottom for better water draw, and bundle the tree for transport home. The scouts will even carry it to your car and put it on the roof for you!
Prices start at $40 and go up to $60.
