Oxford Students Awarded Scholarships from BIC

Shelton, Conn. – August 27, 2013 – Three Oxford residents are recipients of BIC scholarships. The scholarships are awarded annually to children of BIC employees and are based on the students’ scholastic achievements and community service. This year, BIC awarded a total of $115,000 in scholarships to 62 winners, including these three Oxford residents:

 

Christine Katrenya, who is studying Chemistry at Southern Connecticut State University, received a $1,000 scholarship. She is the daughter of Margaret Katrenya.

Richard Katrenya, who is studying Information Management Sciences and Systems at Post University, received a $2,000 scholarship.  He is the son of Margaret Katrenya.

Luke Stepan, who is studying Botany at Purdue University, received a $1,000 scholarship.  He is the son of Constance Stepan.
