Oxford Girls U14 Travel Soccer Team Wins Division

OXFORD, CT - Congratulations to Oxford's U14 girls Travel team on being named South Central CJSA Division Champions for the Spring 2014 season.  Strong on both offense and defense, the team completed the season with a 4-0-0 record in league play, scoring 16 total goals and only giving up three.   They worked very hard throughout the season under the direction of coaches, Sue Kondic and Robert Goldberg, and UK trainer, Kenny Fern.

The team is a part of The Oxford Soccer League - a grass roots, volunteer run, nonprofit organization.  It is affiliated with the South Central Division of the Connecticut Junior Soccer Association (CJSA).  The purpose of the Oxford Soccer League is to foster local amateur sports competition by promoting, developing and governing youth soccer activity in the town of Oxford, CT. Our philosophy is to provide an opportunity for all eligible youth to participate in the sport of soccer.  Questions about the Oxford Soccer League can be directed to osl.registrar@gmail.com
