PPSNE Now Offers New Health Care Services in Meriden, New London & Waterbury, Conn.

On Monday, February 3, 2014, Planned Parenthood of Southern New England (PPSNE) began offering new health care services at the Meriden, New London and Waterbury health centers in Connecticut. Our patients can see the same medical providers they have come to know and trust for their reproductive health care appointments,” said Judy Tabar President & CEO of Planned Parenthood of Southern New England. “From bronchitis to breast exams, Planned Parenthood is committed to keeping our patients healthy from head to toe.”

Throughout February, the Meriden, New London and Waterbury Health Centers will be diagnosing and treating a variety of common- illnesses, such as: the common cold, acute bronchitis, ear infections, strep throat, influenza and sinus infections. Beginning in the spring, PPSNE will add additional services which include the treatment of common skin conditions like acne, fungal infections, insect bites and poison ivy. These three centers will also provide work and school physical exams, treatment of gastrointestinal conditions such as constipation, reflux and hemorrhoids, and musculoskeletal complaints, such as back pain and carpal tunnel.
