Sen. Rob Kane (R-Watertown, 32nd District), Rep. Dave Labriola (R-Oxford, 131st District) applauded the Connecticut Airport Authority’s Monday approval of its first pre-application for a business located within the recently created Waterbury-Oxford Airport Development Zone.
The business, Autonomy Technology, Inc. (ATI), has applied to take advantage of the tax incentives available to eligible businesses within the zone in Oxford.
“As Rep. Labriola, Oxford First Selectman George Temple and I said repeatedly during our legislative push to create this zone, this area creates incentive for businesses to grow,” Sen. Kane said. “We knew that in the long run, the most important thing is that we start creating jobs in Oxford and throughout the region. This announcement shows that our work is beginning to pay dividends in the form of good jobs.”
