Village at Oxford Greens presents scholarships
On Thursday, May 29th, at the Oxford High School awards night, Mr. Fran Barr, a member of the Village at Oxford Greens Scholarship Committee presented $7,100.00 in scholarships to five graduating Oxford High School seniors.

The scholarship program is in its fifth year. During the past five years $30,600.00 in scholarships has been given to 22 Oxford High School graduates. Contributions towards these scholarships were made by residents at Oxford Greens.
A $2,500.00 scholarship was awarded to Nathan Seibert. Nathan will be attending UCONN and studying engineering. A $1,600.00 scholarship was awarded to Hannah VanBuiten. Hannah will be attending The University of Maryland and studying for a degree in psychological research. A $1000.00 scholarship was awarded to Kevin Schumitz who will be attending UCONN and will be studying for a degree in computer science engineering. A $1,000.00 Scholarship was awarded to Nicole Maksymiw. Nicole will be attending Lafayette College to get a degree in clinical psychology specializing in children and adolescents. A $1000.00 scholarship was awarded to Brian Westgate who will be attending Worcester Polytechnic Institute for a degree in aerospace engineering.
