Forum Discusses How to Talk to Your Kids About Attacks

90-minute workshop in Ansonia Tuesday night will be helpful for parents.

 

TEAM Family Resource Center presents: “Attacks & Children – Information for Parents, Caregivers, & Educators”

WHAT: 
Ninety minute workshop with Cindy Rzasa Bess, Ph.D. whom will provide points to remember and consider when speaking with children about horrible tragedies, including how to prepare for questions, strategies based on the age of the child you are speaking with, and how our interactions and ongoing efforts as parents/caregivers/adults can focus providing a sense of safety and security for our young children in these most difficult times.

There will be many opportunities for discussion and questions/answers – highly recommended for parents, educators, and professionals in the field of Early Childhood Education. Dinner and childcare (limited; RSVP as soon as possible) is provided.

WHO:
Cindy Rzasa Bess, Ph.D. is a Developmental Psychologist and a recognized Professional Speaker, consultant, and educator. Cindy provides educational information in the areas of child development, early childhood education, interpersonal relationships and successful parenting practices to teachers, parents and all individuals who come in contact with young children.
