The Oxford Parks and Recreation Commission's annual Easter Egg Hunt for Oxford’s toddlers to second graders will be held at 1 p.m. sharp on Saturday. The Hunt will be held on the soccer field; it was postponed last week due to rain.
If there’s a question about whether or not it will be postponed again, call 203.888.2543, the Parks and Rec hotline. After the voicemail greeting answers, press 4 then Press 1 to hear an announcement about the event’s status.
The hotline will be updated after 10 a.m. You may also go to OxfordRec.com for updates.
Prizes will be given in different age categories. Don’t forget your camera! The Easter Bunny will arrive at 12:30 p.m. to visit with children and give out goodies!
This event is free, but Parks and Rec will graciously accept non-perishable food donations to give to the new Oxford Food Bank (at Oxford Ambulance). Please be generous in giving to those in need.
For more information, call the Parks and Rec. office at 203.888.2543, ext 3041 or e-mail parkandrec@oxford-ct.gov. You may also see more about it at www.OxfordRec.com. Please note the event is for Oxford residents only.
