Team 'Soar Like a Butterfly' to Honor Kim Outlaw

Kim fought a courageous battle with a brain tumor. She passed away on Dec. 27 at age 29.

Dear Readers:

I have decided to fight back against brain tumors by participating in the Team Billy Ride and Walk for Research. Because this cause is so very close to my heart, I am asking you to join this fight by becoming a member of my team.

You may already know my story, but as I ask you to join my team, I’d like to tell you a little bit more about why this fight is so personal to me. My cousin, Kim Outlaw, who was more like a sister than a cousin started her spiritual journey on 12-27-12.  She had an aggressive brain tumor that took her life too soon. She had such a huge love for life and brought light into every room she walked into. I formed the team, Team Soar Like a Butterfly, to honor her memory. I believe a cure can be found some day but a lot of work needs to be done. The only way I know how to help is by doing a fundraiser.

Please join me on May 19, 2013, at the Farmer's Market in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., for a ride or walk to raise money for brain tumor research. If you can't join me, please consider donating to my team to help raise money for research so others don't have to suffer as my cousin did. As you can see, I have a very personal stake in this battle and it would mean so much to me to have you by side at the Team Billy Ride and Walk for Research. Please join my team and unite to fight brain tumors. Thank you!

Great to see IMTI leading the way into the solar future! I went to that school specifically toRead More become a solar electrician. It was before they had a solar program, at the time it was the E-2 electrical course. I see America has a chance to build prosperity again if we will be forward-looking about our manufacturing and energy strategies. My company, Made In USA Solar LLC, aims to contribute to that in a small way, doing what we can by only installing materials made in USA. Congrats to IMTI on their ambitious solar plans!
