Windmill Whipping in the Wind at Historic House [VIDEO]

Strong gusts and sustained winds may have knocked out power to some, but it was generating power at one house.

BEACON FALLS - It's an awesome juxtaposition of history and modern technology.

In Beacon Falls, there's a historic, bright red house that is equipped with a power-generating windmill and solar panels. The house is situated on a corner lot along Route 42, and on Thursday with strong gusts and sustained wind, the blades were humming.
