Oxford Pics & Clips: Your Community Gallery

Upload photos for your neighbors to see.

The neighborhood photo gallery is an area in which you and I can share photos taken in the community.

This week, we have a ton of new reader contributed photos to share, and we've featured them on the homepage. You can see the new community news photos any time on Patch by clicking on the "Pics and Clips" tab at the top right of the home page. I particularly like the ones from the Oxford Center Fire Co. car show; it rained, but it didn't stop the fun, as you can clearly see thanks to reader contributed photos. Thank you!

Also, it's easy for you to participate and upload photos. Just click the tab that says add photos or PDFs, follow the instructions and they're up for the community to see.

If you have any questions, please email me at paul.singley@patch.com.

Thanks,

Paul Singley, Oxford Patch editor

More and more people are adding photos to this neighborhood community gallery. Thanks to Danielle Mastriano for posting storm photos of hail from today (Wednesday, March 28), and to Kathy Cuccaro for posting great photos from Christ Church preschool recently.

Have you ever seen a more sensual flower? I found this beautiful Jack in the Pulpit in an isolated area in our yard hidden by maple saplings. I found it interesting that many people have never seen one, including my Mom which I proudly showed this to her.
Ed Rowland May 23, 2012 at 10:20 PM
Hi Tanya,I think you made an error about that flower. It is a Lady Slipper. When I was living on Governor's Hill as a teen our back yard was full of them.Jack in the Pulpit has a green type blossom with a hood that curls down over the the bloom. There is a finger type thing inside the blossom. They were once plentiful but harder to find nowadays. They are both very cool flowers.

Hi Ed, thanks for the correction.

Neat photo of bobcat. I moved to Oxford 2 years ago....why don't we see many deer?
Tanya Carver November 09, 2012 at 01:09 PM
Wow the Owl looks fake, its amazing. I really enjoy going out at night and having a hoot out with them, it's very interesting how much they respond.
Martha Turbie November 09, 2012 at 04:35 PM
Yes, it DOES ,look fake! Awesome, though.

Love the shark sculpture!
Tanya Carver February 11, 2013 at 11:55 PM
To Therese Kennett, the Shark Sculpture brought back so many memories when the kids were younger, going outside and building an igloo or any king of a tunnel, they really loved it. I can't remember the last time, I built a snowman. Kids grow up too fast. The sculpture is awesome, nice!!! My hubby and I did do some Tobogganing yesterday and almost died walking up the hill, totally out of shape :)
