As of 10:30 p.m., Connecticut Light & Power had restored power to all but one customer in Oxford after a tree branch fell on a primary power line on Riggs Street and Academy Road at 4 p.m., according to the company's website.
A portion of Riggs Street was closed temporarily, but no wires fell and CL&P crews responded pretty quickly, said Oxford Fire Chief Scott Pelletier. The road is now reopened.
CL&P has 5,273 customers in Oxford.
