Does Milford Need Another Independent Market?

With M & M Farms on the Boston Post Road closed for over six months, we ask you: What should take its place?

In a rare Visions for Vacancies occurence, a commercial realtor was outside yesterday morning, showing the property to a pair of gentlemen.

While the realtor was reluctant to discuss the nature of his clients, it was nice to be reminded that for every vacancy in Milford, someone is likely working hard to find an occupant for that property.

M & M Farms was arguably Milford's premiere independent market before closing its doors last December. In the months since its closing, where have you been going for your fresh fruits and vegetables? What memories do you have from M & M Farms' 20 year history?

And most importantly, what do you think should become of the space that the vacant M & M Farms is now occupying?

If baffles me that didn't happen after Orange turned them down.

You just rattled off a few of my favorites! There are GREAT locally owned businesses in town! Let's support them and make sure they stay healthy!

Yes, Harry Garafalo is a community treasure! He runs a great business, it seems all his employees like him, and his stores are always clean and well stocked!

I completely agree. The prices were great, the fruit & vegetables were fresh. Never shopped in the supermarket. Now that I have no other choice, the prices are really killing my budget!
