Some sections of the Westfield Shoppingtown mall in Milford are closed Friday afternoon due to flooding but others are re-opening as of 2:30 p.m.
While the lower level of the Mall is still closed, the upper level is now re-opening, said Westfield Shoppingtown Director of Marketing Amy Daniels.
The best places to enter the mall is on the third floor by the Rave movie theater or through the Panera Bread entrance, she said.
The flood is on the lower level due to some problems with storm drains, and that mall personnel is still in the process of assessing damage, Daniels said.
"We have people coming to site shortly to clear it up," she said around 2 p.m. Friday.
The National Weather Service has issued flash flood warnings throughout the afternoon for New Haven County.
