Oxford Parks and Rec Hosting Easter Egg Hunt

Easter Egg Hunt will be held for area children.

The Parks and Recreation Commission will once again be hosting its annual Easter Egg Hunt for Oxford’s toddlers to second graders. The hunt will be held on the Great Oak School Soccer Field on Saturday, March 23, at 1 p.m. sharp. In case of bad weather, the event will be postponed to March 30.

If there’s a question about whether or not it’s postponed, call 203-888-2543, the Parks and Rec hotline. After the voicemail  greeting answers,  Press 3 then Press 1 to hear an announcement about the event’s status.  The hotline will be updated after 10 am. You may also go to OxfordRec.com for updates. Prizes will be given in different age categories. Don’t forget your camera! The Easter Bunny will arrive at 12:30 to visit with the children and give out goodies!

This event is free, but we will be graciously accepting your non-perishable food donations to give to a local food bank.  Please be generous in giving to those in need.   If more info is needed, call the Parks and Recreation office at 888-2543., Ext 3041 or e-mail parkandrec@oxford-ct.gov.  You may also see more about it on our website: www.OxfordRec.com.  Please note that this is an event for Oxford residents only.
