Oxford Parks and Rec Offers Reflections of Italy Trip

This is a great experience for all who participate.

This 10-day trip will depart from JFK International Airport on Wednesday, April 10th, 2013.  You’ll start your visit in Rome, “The Eternal City”  where you’ll enjoy a panoramic tour, featuring the Piazza Venezia, the Circus Maximus, the Colosseum, the Arch of Constantine and the famous Piazza Navona.  From there, you’ll travel to Assisi,  birthplace of St Francis and then off to medieval Perugia.

Then you’re off for a scenic journey through Tuscany’s graceful low lying hills into Siena and eventually to Florence, the Cradle of Italian Rennaisance.  See the incredible statue of “David”, view the Cathedral of Santa Maria Del Fiore, the palazzo Vecchio and the Church of Santa Croce, burial place of Michaelangelo, Galileo and Machiavelli.  Then you’re on to Venice to see the sights, including a boat trip to the island of Murano for an up close glass making demonstration.

Your tour will end with visits to Lugano, Switzerland, Como, Italy and Milan Malpensa.  Price of $3,499 per person (double occupancy) includes round trip flight, hotels,  tours,  14 meals, hotel transfers and air taxes.
