Three Overnight Trips with Oxford Parks and Recreation

Oxford Parks and Recreation offers 3 great weekend trips!

Below is a list of three overnight  trips offered by Oxford Parks and Recreation  this year.  Go to OxfordRec.com for more detail on any of these.   All of our trips leave from and return to the Oxford Town Hall.  They are open to residents and non-residents.   Driver Gratuity is included in all of our trip prices as shown.  To make a reservation, call the OPR office or register online at OxfordRec.com.  Overnight weekend trips require a $150 deposit to reserve your space.   You can also reserve and pay for any of our trips on our website.  All trips are to be paid in full by 45 days before departure.  NO refunds after 30 days before departure.  

Fri-Sun, May 31st  – June 2nd – Penn Dutch Weekend!   NOAH!  Is back at the Sight and Sound Theater in Lancaster, PA.   We’ll spend 2 nights at the Country Inn of Lancaster.  Trip includes narrated Horse Drawn Carriage Ride, visit to Kitchen Kettle Village, Amish Countryside Tour, 2 dinners and reserved seats at the Sight and Sound Theater for their greatest production – Noah!  On our way home on Sunday, we’ll stop at QVC Studio for a guided tour and maybe a little shopping…….$420pp (dbl/tpl).

Sat - Sun, Aug  10th – 11th – Boston Pops by the Sea!  This trip includes 1 night stay at the Radisson Hotel on Plymouth Harbor (Mass) where they serve Thanksgiving Dinner year round!  The hotel is within walking distance to the Mayflower II and Plymouth Rock. The trip also includes a Buffet Breakfast, Thanksgiving Dinner, Harbor Cruise and reserved seating at the 28th annual Pops by the Sea concert on the Hyannis Village Green.  Pops by the Sea is sponsored by the Arts Foundation of Cape Cod and features the Boston Pops conducted by Keith Lockhart  as well as a celebrity guest conductor yet to be named.  You’ll have most of the day on Sunday to browse the many arts and craft vendors, enjoy lunch on your own and to listen to the various performers throughout the day leading up to the main event which starts at 5:00pm.  We will come home after the concert.  Fee also includes concert admission,  taxes and fees and gratuities.    $299 per person (double occupancy), $379 (single).

Sat-Mon – October 12th – 14th (Columbus Day weekend) – Bar Harbor, Maine! Trip includes 2 night stay in waterview rooms at the Atlantic Oceanside Resort, 2 full breakfasts, 1 lobster dinner, Bar Harbor Nature Cruise, step on guided tour of Acadia National Park, Carriage Ride in Acadia National Park, admission to the Maine Lighthouse Museum, plenty of free time in Bar Harbor, Camden and Freeport, and a souvenir Lobster Hat for all passengers!!  $460pp Dbl; $440 trpl; $640 sngl
