Victim: Survival Was a Miracle

Oxford resident Carl Ottowell said he must have had a guardian angel looking out for him.

resident Carl Ottowell says it was a miracle that he survived but left him with only a minor head scrape.

In an interview with the Valley Independent Sentinel, Ottowell, 53, of Good Hill Road, said he must have a guardian angel that looked out for him when his car swerved off the left side of Governor’s Hill Road and hit the guard rail.

The steel guard rail went through the car’s windshield and peeled back the vehicle’s roof, narrowly missing Ottowell’s head.
