Oxford Parks and Rec Still Has Room for Upcoming Trips

Trips offered to Harlem, Boston and Tanglewood.

  • Saturday, June 9th  – Harlem -  A guided tour of Harlem including a tour of the world renowned Apollo Theatre – where stars are born and legends are made.  Enjoy a delicious lunch at Sylvia’s Restaurant – the temple of soul food since 1962.  There will be plenty of free time to browse and shop as well.  $95
  • Saturday, June 23rd –A Day in Boston.  First we’ll tour Harvard University, led by a student who will share hilarious stories and folklore with us.  Then we’ll have lunch at the Grafton Street Restaurant in the heart of “the square”.   We’ll also join a local guide as we walk the “Freedom Trail” where we’ll visit the Old State House, Beacon Hill, Paul Revere’s house, The Old North Church, etc.  $85 pp.
  • Sunday, July 1st –Star Spangled Celebration in Boston!  The Tall Ships and Naval Vessels from around the world  are coming to Boston and we’ll view these magnificent vessels from the water as we cruise on board the Provincetown II for an outstanding narrated tour of Boston Harbor.  Pre Cruise lunch will be at Maggiano’s Famous Italian Restaurant.  $100 pp
  • Sunday, July 8th – Tanglewood  to see the Boston Pops and special guest star Bernadette Peters as she presents her signature selections such as Let Me Entertain You, Fever, Some Enchanted Evening, etc.  Seats are reserved in The Shed.   $84 pp
