residents, who for missing or abducted children, will have an opportunity next month to register their children in advance for the program.
According to the Valley Independent Sentinel, the Amber Alert registration will be offered by the Oxford-Seymour Rotary Club on Aug. 4, 2-6 p.m. at the Ideal Image salon during Seymour’s First Saturday event.
The registration records a child’s information on a wallet size card that parents can provide to police in the event of a disappearance to speed up having an Amber Alert issued.
