Winter Weather Advisory Issued; Wednesday's Commute Could Be Messy

Snow, sleet and freezing rain wound its way into the National Weather Service forecast for the Jan. 15 and 16 forecast for Litchfield and New Haven Counties.

Since last night's weather forecast, the National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory for northern New Haven County. Litchfield County is still under a hazardous weather outlook.

The commute could be messy, as the NWS forecast calls for snow and sleet to mix or change to freezing rain, just in time for Wednesday morning.
