Singers and non-singers invited to CT Choral Society summer event

CT Choral Society Summer Sing Event

Whether you’re a singer (who wants to get the

vocal cords back in shape for the fall concert season), or a music appreciator (who is curious to see how a
Carnegie Hall conductor and a high caliber ensemble interact), then you’re
invited to come to the Connecticut Choral Society’s summer sing.

Maestro Eric
Dale Knapp will not only be leading singers through Gabriel Faure’s Requiem,
but also will be presenting the interesting historical and musical significance
of the piece.  Admission covers the use of the music score and light refreshments. Both singers and non-singers (who
wish to listen) are invited. All one needs is a love of choral music and a
willingness to have some fun in a relaxed informal environment against the
backdrop of a summer evening.

Admission is $10 for singers  (includes use of music) and is FREE for non-singers.  The evening will
end with light refreshments and an opportunity to purchase Connecticut Choral
Society concert CDs and holiday choral tree ornaments.
