CT Partnership for Children Seeks Donations for Local Kids

Learn how you can help low-income children in need.

The Stephen B. Church Memorial Town Hall in Oxford now serves as a drop off location for diapers and wipes that will be given to children from low-income home situations in the area.

The diaper and wipe bin is located in the main hallway of the building at 486 Oxford Road. It will be there through Dec. 5.

All donations from caring individuals will be given to Connecticut Partnership for Children, Inc., a 501-C3 organization dedication to supporting low-income children throughout Connecticut. It was founded in 2009 by Oxford native Meg Tarby.

The organization states in a news release that it is in dire need for all diapers and wipes,  and that there is a desperate need for diapers sized 4, 5 and 6.

Anyone willing to donate can drop off donations at Oxford Town Hall during regular business hours: Mondays: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Tuesday through Friday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

For more information, contact Kelly Weymer at 203-888-2543, ext. 3034.

The organization thanks donors in advance for their generosity. Visit Connecticut Partnership for Children's website at www.ctpfc.org.
