Oxford PTO Shred Day & Tag Sale

The Oxford Parent Teacher Organization will hold a Shred It Day fundraiser at from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 22.

People can purchase a pre-order shred bag for $10. The bag will hold approximately 30-to-35 pounds of paper and junk mail. A truck from Secure Eco Shred will be at the school and will shred all documents on site.

The PTO encourages people to protected themselves and their families against identity theft by attending the event. People can destroy unwanted junk mail, old family papers, documents and confidential home/office papers safely and easily at the event. It is also a good way for people to recycle, PTO members say.
