'Make Some Mischief' for CT Partnership for Children

The Nov. 1 event will feature a variety of fun activities to raise money for a good cause.

In 2009, when Connecticut Partnership for Children was established, Colonial Tavern hosted the agency's first fundraiser - "Make Some Mischief," a Halloween party for ages 21 and up. This year, in the agency's fifth year of existence, the event is back!

"Make Some Mischief" will take place on Friday, Nov. 1, at Colonial Tavern, 24 Hawley Road, Oxford. This Vaudeville Variety show will feature true Burlesque by Kitty Katastrophe, Cabaret by Dot Mitzvah, Magic by Adam Parisi (www.magicofadam.com), Tarot Readings, music and dancing, and more! Costumes are encouraged but not required. There will be a costume contest and prizes.

The cost is $15 in advance, $20 at the door, and the entry fee includes cold hors d'oeuvres and snacks, entry to win a door prize, and one (1) drink ticket redeemable for beer or wine.  There will be a cash bar featuring a large beer selection and Halloween specials. This event is for ages 21&up only.

The doors open at 6:30 p.m. (Bar opens and hors d’oeuvres served). The disc jockey and Magic of Adam start at 7 p.m. The show starts at 8 p.m. The event ends at midnight.

All proceeds benefit the Connecticut Partnership for Children, Inc, the Valley’s first diaper bank, and a 501(c)(3) organization located in Seymour. Sponsorship options are available for this event, and much appreciated. Tickets will be available online at www.ctpfc.org (on the event page) until midnight on Thursday, October 31st. For more information, please call (203) 881-1804 or email info@ctpfc.org.
