Annual Festival of Trees Weekend Will Be Held Dec. 13-14

The event includes many fun activities for families, as well as opportunities to give to charities.

Please join us for the Oxford PTO Holiday Bazaar and Oxford High School Booster Club's sixth-annual Festival of Trees Weekend for Charity on Dec. 13 and 14 at Oxford High School.  Take a leisurely stroll through the OHS Festival of Trees all weekend long during the many activities for the young and young at heart.

The festivities start Friday, Dec 13, with "Pizza with Santa" from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tickets are $5 per person or $20 for a family including pizza/beverage/dessert. Children will be able to make their own gingerbread houses, and Santa will make a special appearance for pictures.

Friday evening from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. is a musical performance by the Oxford High School Choir, Band, and Jazz Band in the OHS Auditorium.

On Saturday, Dec. 14 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., the Holiday Bazaar will take place in the OHS café as vendors will set up for moms and dads to do some of their own shopping. There will also be a special shopping area for children with gifts ranging from 50 cents to $20 with free gift wrap.

Raffle tickets for the decorated trees - many with gift cards - will be available throughout the weekend: just drop your tickets into the basket on each tree for your chance to win that tree. The money collected from the raffle tickets will be donated to a charity listed on the tree. Winners will be announced shortly after the Christmas Concert.

The weekend festivities will conclude with a Holiday Concert from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. featuring The Toigo Band and Carbon Conflict. Tickets are available for $5. If you wish to bring a donation of canned food the ticket price is $4.

In the holiday spirit of giving to those in need, there will also be a toy box if you wish to bring an unwrapped toy for the Oxford Resident Trooper Office’s Toy Drive.
