Fourth of July Weekend Weather Forecast For Oxford

Will Mother Nature cooperate with your Independence Day celebration plans?

If you're like me, you can't wait for this long Fourth of July weekend!

So what's Mother Nature have in store for us for that day, July 4? Here's the prediction for Oxford from the National Weather Service

"Isolated showers and thunderstorms after 1 p.m. Patchy fog before 8 a.m. Otherwise, partly sunny, with a high near 86. Light southwest wind increasing to 5 to 10 mph in the morning. Chance of precipitation is 20%."

For Thursday night, the National Weather Service is forecasting isolated showers and thunderstorms with temps around 68.

As for the rest of the holiday weekend, here's the current forecast from the NWS:

  • Friday — Partly sunny, with a high near 82. Chance of precipitation is 30%. At night, mostly cloudy with a low around 68.
  • Saturday — Partly sunny, with a high near 85. At night, mostly cloudy with temps around 67.
  • Sunday — Mostly sunny, with a high near 83.
