How to Get a Natural "No Makeup" Makeup Look

Many women want compliments on how pretty they look, not how pretty their makeup looks. Here's a step by step guide on how to achieve the "No Makeup" makeup look!

A lot of people want their complements to be on how pretty they look NOT how pretty their makeup looks.  Being a huge fan of makeup, I obviously like both, but many times, I just want to look put together, presentable and natural.  This is the kind of lesson that numerous women want when they hire me to teach them how to apply their own makeup.  Most ladies, including me, don’t have the time for elaborate makeup every day.  Please do not expect to see me around town looking like I do when I put in two hours worth of every professional trick I know into my hair,  makeup and style for a formal event!  NOT FEASIBLE!

What I certainly do every day, however, is highlight my benefits and camouflage my flaws.  I use primer, foundation, powder, blush, eyebrow powder, mascara and a lip product every single day that is not a summer day spent by the water.  When I have some more time, I also use eye shadows and liner.  I have a few videos on my YouTube channel that show you how to do a quick makeup routine in different ways under the tutorials playlist.

For a “no makeup” makeup look, watch this video to see how to do it for yourself at home!  The trick to a “no makeup” makeup look is to first, find a foundation that blends effortlessly into your skin.  Be sure to use a primer to help it blend and last all day and set it with a powder.  Next, put on a blush that is a shade or two darker than your own skin color right under the hallows of your cheeks.  You can use cream blush BEFORE you powder to blend it in with your creamy foundation, if you prefer.  Then, be sure to fill in your eyebrows as this makes a HUGE difference in defining your natural features.  Next, use a matte powder close to your skin tone to create a base on your eyes.  Then, use a matte eye shadow or even two that are darker to deepen the natural crease and hallows of your eye structure.  After that, curl your lashes and swipe on mascara with a lengthening and separating formula.  Finally, put on whatever lip product you like to wear for a natural look from Chap Stick to lip gloss to lip stick.  Voila!  You have a “no makeup” makeup look for work, school or running errands around town!

Great to see IMTI leading the way into the solar future! I went to that school specifically toRead More become a solar electrician. It was before they had a solar program, at the time it was the E-2 electrical course. I see America has a chance to build prosperity again if we will be forward-looking about our manufacturing and energy strategies. My company, Made In USA Solar LLC, aims to contribute to that in a small way, doing what we can by only installing materials made in USA. Congrats to IMTI on their ambitious solar plans!
