Is this really the process we want?

CCDL held a poker run fund raiser yesterday, which I had the privilege to participate in.

I had the opportunity to speak with Jerry Labriola, state RTC chairman. Jerry was easy to spot in the crowd in his Ralph Lauren ensemble amid a sea of CCDL t-shirts and bike attire.

We talked about the need to have qualified candidates and not recycle oath breakers. Jerry shared his vetting process with me. Among his criteria are likable, and the ability to raise money. Odd, I would have thought honor, integrity, oath keeper, stick to party principles would have been at the top of the list. He only acknowledged them after I pointed out that his requirements are purely cosmetic.

Sorry, Jerry. You really need to re-examine priorities. The real republicans  are looking for good people to represent  us and our party, not attractive people to appear in toothpaste commercials.
