Auditions Announced for 'You're a Good Man Charlie Brown' by the Nine Mile Players

The Nine Mile Players are Holding Auditions for You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown!

Auditions will be held at the Oxford Grange at 482 Oxford Road on 

Tuesday March 5th from 7:00pm to 9:30pm 
and Saturday March 9th from 12:00pm to 3:00pm.

The Nine Mile Players are proud to announce auditions for our spring musical production, You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown. This 1967 musical comedy features music and lyrics by Clark Gesner, based on the characters created by cartoonist Charles M. Schulz in his comic strip Peanuts. The latest revival of You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown was presented on Broadway in 1999 and played for 149 performances at the Ambassador Theatre with Tony award-winning performances by Roger Bart and Kristin Chenoweth as Snoopy and Sally. 

  • All roles are open and will feature a small ensemble cast of actors, singers and dancers.
  • All ages (13+) and types encouraged to audition!
  • Please prepare at least one musical theatre song, 16 bars in length, in the style of the show and one comedic monologue.
  • Pianist will be available. There will be no acapella singing accepted.
  • Actors, please be prepared to learn a short dance combination and possibly read sides from the play.
  • Professional appearance required at auditions and callbacks.

Anyone looking to volunteer behind the scenes is encouraged to attend the auditions as well to speak with the Producer.

You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown will be directed by Christina Kalafut and Produced by Ashleigh Smith in hopes of continuing to bring Broadway sized talent to your very own backyard! For more information check out our website at www.ninemileplayers.org or find us on facebook!
