Obituary: Art Tenbrink, Jr., 56

Mr. Arthur Raymond Tenbrink, Jr., age 56, of Seymour, died peacefully at YNHH-St. Raphael Campus after a lengthy illness with his wife, daughter and best friend by his side. Art was born in Norwalk and was the son of the late Arthur Raymond Tenbrink, Sr. and the late Erminnie (Souppa) Lorah. He worked for 24 years at DiGiorgi Roofing and Siding of Beacon Falls before his illness.

Art’s passion besides his loving family were boating and fishing on his “Artlander” and collecting lighthouses. Art leaves behind his loving childhood sweetheart and wife, Doreen (Czako) Tenbrink, his loving children, Casey Lee, Amanda, Melody and Derek (Shannon) Tenbrink. Two step children, Aaron Rigdon and Rachel Wallin and six grandchildren. Arthur also leaves behind his brother, Robert (Kathy) Tenbrink, Joseph (Rose) Tenbrink, his sister, Joann (Dave) McDermott, his best friends Curtis Bloxam, Richie Zullo and Domenic Colangelo and many nieces and nephews.

The family will have a Celebration of Life Service at a later date. There will be no services at this time.
