Obituary: Brian C. Laneuville, 24

Man died in motorcycle accident in Shelton on Wednesday.

Brian C. Laneuville, age 24, of Ansonia entered into rest on Tuesday, May 29, 2012.

He was the beloved son of Michael R. and Nancy Grinsted Laneuville and was a lifelong Ansonia resident.

Brian graduated Emmett O’Brien Technical High School in 2006.

He was the lead auto mechanic at Precision Tune Auto Care in Shelton. Brian had a passion for working on cars, riding his motorcycle, and had a great sense of humor that always left you smiling.

He is the loving brother of Joshua and Sara Laneuville, loving grandson of Lillian and Robert Gard and Glorianne and Gerard Laneuville.

He is also survived by his best friend and girlfriend Samantha Cerretani; two beloved kittens, Kami and Jax; and by several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Brian was predeceased by his maternal grandfather Charles Grinsted.

Friends may call on Sunday from 2 to 6 PM. at the Riverview Funeral Home, 390 River Rd., Shelton CT 06484.

On Monday, Friends are invited to go directly to the Assumption Church, 61 North Cliff St., Ansonia CT 06401 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. His burial will follow in Mt. St. Peter’s Cemetery.

The family requests that memorial contributions may be made to the “Brian Laneuville Memorial Fund” through the funeral home.
