Obituary: Doris M. Nardi, 82, Formerly of Oxford

Doris M. Nardi, 82 of Southbury, formerly of Oxford and Torrington, entered peaceful rest Aug. 31, 2013 in Southbury; she was the beloved wife of 59 years to George C. Nardi.

Mrs. Nardi was born Dec. 29, 1930 in Torrington, daughter of the late Joseph Marciano and Pauline Bredice Gioia.  She was retired from Southbury Training School having worked in the Finance Office.

Besides her husband , Doris leaves her daughters, Carla Osiecki of Newville, Penn., Lisa Nardi of Southbury, and Nancy Stefanko of Canterbury, 10 grandchildren, six great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and brother and sister-in-law, Jack and Judy LaRocca of Derby.

There are no calling hours, all services are private. The Ralph E. Hull Funeral Home, 161 W. Church St. Seymour is entrusted with the arrangements.
