Sandra L. (LaBonte) Mitchell, 64, passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2011 at home surrounded by her loving family.
Sandra was born on Nov. 17, 1946, in Waterbury, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Gertrude (Miller) LaBonte. She retired from Seamans where she worked for many years.
She is survived by three daughters, Bonnie Mitchell of Oxford, Lynn Valerde of Phoenix, Ariz., and Brenda Vandertoorn and her husband Keith of Phoenix, Ariz., one son, Larry Mitchell and his wife Daneya of Reddick, Fla., one sister, Madelyne Aldrich of Oxford and six grandchildren, Koah, Ally, Connor, Kayla, Maya and Evan.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, Aug. 6, 2011 at 12:30 p.m. at the Buckmiller Brothers Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. Friends may call at the funeral home Saturday morning from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the service.
