Mr. Thomas S. Mills, 76, of Oxford, formerly of Milford, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 23, 2012 at Yale-New Haven Hospital.
He was born on December 14, 1935 in New Haven and was the son of the late Sterling and Beatrice (Clark) Mills. Mr. Mills served with the US Coast Guard as a Lieutenant Commander from 1958-1971. He was the owner of a hobby store in Milford for many years before his retirement. Mr. Mills was an active member of the Oxford United Church of Christ and also a member of the CT Post Card Club.
Mr. Mills is survived by his daughter, Lori Rapuano and her husband Joseph of East Granby, two grandchildren, Amy and Davis Rapuano, a sister Elaine Pilkowski and her husband Walter of Milford and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, Sept. 27 at 10 a.m. at the Oxford United Church of Christ, 3 Academy Road, Oxford. Interment will be held in private.
