“Such irony...we pay tuition to send our children to private schools, and in addition, still pay school taxes! The school district has our tax dollars, minus our children to educate. The school district is not complaining about this scenario. We as parents, determine where our children will obtain the best education and make huge sacrifices to meet that goal should it lie outside the public school system, and yes, still pay our school taxes. Yes, what suffers is the real estate market.” for the shared Woodbury-Bethlehem school district and thinks the school district is part of the free rider problem.

I couldn't believe it when I heard that they want to cut the drama department. My son has been doing plays since 8th grade. Why is it that the arts are always the first to be cut. This town does everything for sports, why don't they make changes to their programs? It is not like this town has really high ranking teams that are always in the news.” The North Branford School District is , but thinks officials should look elsewhere for savings.
