Ryan VerNooy's Family Thanks 'Superheros' [Video]

It’s not every day you are surrounded by Superheroes, but on Sept 17th at the , we were.

That’s where the was held and everywhere we looked, we saw special people - the organizers, the volunteers, the troopers, the fire/ambulance members, the reporters, the runners/walkers, those who came to lend support and the sponsors who made it possible. Every one of them is a superhero to us!

The Superhero 5K Race was a wonderful tribute to our son, Ryan, and we know he’d be so proud that his favorite charity, Hole In The Wall Gang Camp, will receive a generous donation in his honor.

Thank you so much to all of you; it meant more than words can express. We are so very touched by the caring, kindness and support of all those involved. What a great job the team of organizers did. Lead by Amy Hagstrom, Jessica Hagstrom and Stephanie Gagliardi, it was truly a special day.

A great big THANK YOU to all those who donated to the race and made it so successful. Your generosity is very much appreciated. Special Thanks to Colonial Tavern for allowing us to begin and end there.
