Dave ,I did protest the venue of the meeting very lowdly. I will say it again this meeting should have been at town hall where it has always been not at a dinner party at Krane's home. Check my first post on this thread. I was not invited and yes I would have to crash the party. I have the big ones to do just that (mine are just located a little higher). I have decided not to bother. This meeting should be moved back to town hall and the newly elected members of the ODTC should tell Krane to do so.

WOW!! Talk about a "private" meeting... Who does things like this? If there's any type of meeting held it should be in townhall. Correct me if I'm wrong... Isn't a meeting like this supposed to have minutes recorded? It's supposed to be professional and not held as a personal dinner party? Who's paying for the dinner? The Dem party? If the dem party is paying then wouldn't the entire party be included? Now, let me ask this.. If the republicans were to do this, would Ms. Krane be flipping out saying the meeting should be held at town hall where everyone and anyone could attend? @Kathy Johnson, I'm sorry you've had all this BS to deal wit, I can see that you're very passionate about this town!! When does all this nonsense stop? I know, I know, NEVER! I'm sure both Mr. Wyatt's are going to be the topic at the dinner table and I'm sure they're going to scheme up a plan to try and have them removed. Sounds a bit fishy to me that this "meeting" is being held at Kranes home where not everyone would be comfortable showing up to. I sure wouldn't go to this women's home, I don't know her but I'm also not a dem so I'm not invited anyhow!! I just think it's wrong! Dinner can be delivered to town hall! Talk about selective invitations! She's just making the democrats look worse and worse, I'm by far a political knowledgable person but I'm smart enough to know that this is just wrong!

Bob and Bonnie, Informing state central was considered and not just by me. I am not sure how they would respond. On the state level their rules may be different. On the other hand even though our ODTC by laws according to Krane state that the location should be located at a venue that is close enough for all members to attend ODTC meetings have always allowed registered Dems to attend and observe the monthly meetings and have always been at town hall except for sub committee meetings. This was an obvious attempt to exclude any nay sayers. The Democrat party started to fall apart the day the last democratic first selectman won the Democratic nomination. I take some blame for the dems falling appart as I was the chair at the time and gave said nominee my full support over a good selectman and human being Rick O'Doy. Krane has now put the final nail in the coffin. I have stated many times why I resigned as chair. It was for a good reason. Others may not agree and thats ok. You see I have been blackballed from running for town treasurer and board of finance with the Dems. because I dared to disagree. If I sound like I am holding a grudge so are others. The fact is that lots of Dems on and off the town committee voted for Temple. Ask yourself why. Because he treats people with respect. You see next time I choose to run for office I will run as an unafiliated candidate.
