Wipeout, Futurama and LA Ink on TV Thursday Night

Wipeout, 8 p.m., ABC

The features tonight include people getting hit by a giant flyswatter and something called “Ballsy's Underwater Aquatic Adventure.” This might be the closest we’ve come to closing the game show craziness gap we have with Japan.

Futurama, 10 p.m., Comedy Central

This has been back since last summer. It’s not really as good as it was during its first run, but that seems to happen whenever canceled shows are revived after a long absence (take a note, everyone petitioning to bringArrested Development back). Still, it’s fared better in quality than a lot of the animated shows that started in the 90s. Tonight, “A secret mission by Dr. Zoidberg and the Professor from long ago is discovered by the crew.”

LA Ink, 10 p.m., TLC
